I have had a passion for all things green since a child, it was only natural that this would lead me into a career as a landscape designer.After working in the green industry for a few years my dreams came true and I joined Whirlwind gardens a landscaping company with my partner.http://www.whirlwindgardens.co.za/ 

I wanted to start this blog to write about some of the things that inspire me as a designer. Share the knowledge and experiences I have learnt through my gardening journey. As every gardener knows you are always learning and like an artists painting a garden is never complete it is forever changing. I think that is what I love most about design and gardening it is an ongoing adventure. Things do not always work to plan and that is what makes mother nature so interesting.

Another Passion of mine is to look after our environment. Using only organic products, letting mother nature take care of the 'nastys', protecting our fragile Eco systems, recycling,using indigenous plants to their full potential. This is the beginning of a list of things that really get me excited.
